বিশ্বসেরা অলরাউন্ডার সাকিব আল হাসান চাকরিতে যোগ দিয়েছেন।The world's best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has joined the job.

 

বাংলাদেশ টাইগার্স এর “ পোস্টার বয় “ সাকিব আল হাসান দেশের হয়ে লাল সবুজ 

জার্সি নিয়ে বিশ্ব ক্রিকেটে দাপটির সঙ্গে খেলে যাচ্ছেন। ক্রিকেটের সকল ফরম্যাটেই 

অনেক দিন  ধরেই  বিশ্বসেরা অলরাউন্ডার হিসেবে নিজেকে প্রমাণ করেছেন এই অলরাউন্ডার । 

এবার সেই সাকিবই যোগ দিলেন চাকরিতে!

গত বুধবার (৫ জানুয়ারি) বেলা ১১টায় গালফ অয়েল বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেডের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে 

প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (সিইও) হিসেবে যোগ দিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ দলের অলরাউন্ডার সাকিব 

আল হাসান। তবে শুধু একদিনের জন্যই এ দায়িত্ব নিয়েছেন ৩৫ বছর বয়সী এই অলরাউন্ডার ।

সাকিব আল হাসান আগে থেকেই  দেশে-বিদেশের  বিভিন্ন কোম্পানির ব্র্যান্ড অ্যাম্বাসেডর 

হিসেবে কাজ করেন । গালফ অয়েলেরও ব্র্যান্ড অ্যাম্বাসেডর হিসেবে যুক্ত রয়েছেন তিনি। 

তবে কোম্পানির প্রচারের জন্য এবার অভিনব আয়োজনে সাকিবকে সিইও পদে যুক্ত করেছে কোম্পানি কর্তৃপক্ষ।

নিজের অনুভূতি প্রকাশ করে সাকিব আল হাসান  সংবাদমাধ্যমকে  বলেন, ‘খুবই 

ভালো লাগছে। প্রথমবার এরকম একটা দায়িত্বশীল পদে এলাম। বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন 

ধরনের চ্যালেঞ্জ এসেছে, এই চ্যালেঞ্জ অতিক্রম করাই একটি বড় মজার বিষয়। 

আমার কাছে এই ধরনের চ্যালেঞ্জ ভালো লাগে। 

চেষ্টা করব ভালো কাজের মাধ্যমে এই কোম্পানিকে আরও সামনে নিয়ে যাওয়ার।’

অলরাউন্ডার  সাকিব মাঠের বাইরেও  বিভিন্ন ব্যবসার সঙ্গেও যুক্ত রয়েছেন। ফলে 

ভবিষ্যতে সত্যিকার অর্থেই এই ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানের সিইও হওয়ার স্বপ্ন দেখেন কি না, 

এমন প্রশ্ন করা হলে জবাবে সাকিব বলেন, ‘এখন পর্যন্ত ক্রিকেট নিয়েই স্বপ্ন আছে। 

যখন তা শেষ হবে, তখন নতুন স্বপ্ন দেখা শুরু করব ’।

গালফ ওয়েল বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেডের প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা অম্লান মিত্র সাকিবের 

ওপর এমন দায়িত্ব হস্তান্তরের কারণ হিসেবে বলেন, ‘আমি এক দিনের জন্য  অব্যাহতি 

পেলাম। সাকিব রোজই দলের সিইও হয়ে মাঠে নামেন। তো একদিন এই অবস্থানে বসে 

দেখুক, এখানে কেমন চাপ আছে। এটি একটি আইডিয়া।’

গালফ ওয়েল বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেডের সঙ্গে সাকিব আল হাসান গত চার বছর ধরে যুক্ত 

রয়েছেন । করোনা মহামারিসহ বৈশ্বিক মন্দার মধ্যেও অভূতপূর্ব প্রবৃদ্ধি অর্জন করেছে 

এই কোম্পানি। তাই প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা অম্লান মিত্র সাকিবকে সৌভাগ্যের প্রতীক 

হিসেবেও উল্লেখ করেছেন ।

গালফ ওয়েল বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেডের প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা অম্লান মিত্র আরও বলেন, 

“ সাকিব আল হাসান “ আমাদের “সৌভাগ্যের প্রতীক”। পাশাপাশি সে আমাদের ব্র্যান্ড 

অ্যাম্বাসেডরও।

Shakib Al Hasan, the "poster boy" of Bangladesh Tigers, is playing for the country

Bangladesh team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan joined the head office of Gulf Oil Bangladesh 

Limited as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) last Wednesday (January 5) at 11 o'clock. 

But this 35-year-old all-rounder has taken this responsibility only for one day.

Shakib Al Hasan has already worked as a brand ambassador for various companies in the 

country and abroad. He is also involved as the brand ambassador of Gulf Oil. However, 

for the promotion of the company, the company authorities have added Shakib to the post 

of CEO in a novel arrangement.

Expressing his feelings, Shakib Al Hasan told the media, 'I feel very good. I came to such 

a responsible position for the first time. There are different challenges at different times, 

overcoming these challenges is a great fun. I like this kind of challenge. I will try to take 

this company forward through good work.

All-rounder Shakib is also associated with various businesses off the field. As a result, 

when asked whether he really dreams of becoming the CEO of such an organization in 

the future, Shakib replied, "Till now I have a dream about cricket." When it's over, I'll 

start dreaming anew'.

Amlan Mitra, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Well Bangladesh Limited, said as the 

reason for handing over such responsibilities to Shakib, 'I was exempted for one day. 

Shakib Rose entered the field as the CEO of the team. So one day sit in this position 

and see what kind of pressure is here. This is an idea.'

Shakib Al Hasan has been associated with Gulf Well Bangladesh Limited for the past 

four years. The company has achieved unprecedented growth despite the global recession 

including the Corona pandemic. Therefore, Chief Executive Officer Amlan Mitra also 

referred to Shakib as a symbol of good luck.
