মঙ্গলবার সকালে রোমের উদ্দেশে রওনা হবেন। প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও তার সফরসঙ্গীদের নিয়ে বিমান
বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি ভিভিআইপি ফ্লাইট ইতালির রাজধানী রোমের উদ্দেশে হযরত
শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর ত্যাগ করবে।
বিমানটি স্থানীয় সময় বিকাল সোয়া ৪টায় রোমের ফিয়ামিসিনো বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করবে।
মিনিস্টার প্লেনিপোটেনসিয়ারি অব ইটালিয়ান ফরেন মিনিস্ট্রি এবং ইতালিতে নিযুক্ত বাংলাদেশের
রাষ্ট্রদূত আবদুস সোবহান সিকদার প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে বিমানবন্দরে অভ্যর্থনা জানাবেন।
পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এ কে আব্দুল মোমেন বলেছেন, জাতিসংঘের মহাসচিব আন্তোনিও গুতেরেসের
আমন্ত্রণে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার নেতৃত্বে উচ্চ পর্যায়ের প্রতিনিধিদল এই সম্মেলনে যোগ দিচ্ছে।
পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী ছাড়াও কৃষিমন্ত্রী, খাদ্যমন্ত্রী, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বেসরকারি শিল্প ও বিনিয়োগ বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা
এবং বিদ্যুত্, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ বিষয়ক প্রতিমন্ত্রী প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সফরসঙ্গী হবেন।
সফরসূচি অনুযায়ী, আগামীকাল সোমবার প্রধানমন্ত্রী এফএওর সদর দপ্তরে সম্মেলনের আনুষ্ঠানিক
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ আমন্ত্রিত বক্তা হিসেবে বক্তব্য দেবেন। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান শেষে প্রধানমন্ত্রী
‘ফুড সিস্টেম অ্যান্ড ক্লাইমেট অ্যাকশন’ শীর্ষক প্লেনারি সেশনে অংশ নেবেন।
‘মানুষ, পৃথিবী ও সমৃদ্ধির জন্য টেকসই খাদ্য ব্যবস্থা : একটি যূথযাত্রায় বিভিন্ন পথ’ প্রতিপাদ্য নিয়ে
অনুষ্ঠিতব্য এই সম্মেলনে খুব ব্যস্ত সময় কাটাবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। জানা গেছে, ফোরামে বিভিন্ন দেশের
রাষ্ট্রপ্রধান, সরকার প্রধান, কৃষি বিশেষজ্ঞ, খাদ্য উৎপাদনকারী, বিজ্ঞানী, গবেষক ও অন্যান্য
স্টেকহোল্ডাররা উপস্থিত থাকবেন। সোমবার তিনি এফএও সদর দপ্তরে সম্মেলনের আনুষ্ঠানিক
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে ভাষণ দেবেন। জাতিসংঘ মহাসচিব আন্তোনিও
গুতেরেসসহ অন্যদেরও অধিবেশনে ভাষণ দেয়ার কথা রয়েছে।
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের পর প্রধানমন্ত্রী ‘ফুড সিস্টেম এন্ড ক্লাইমেট অ্যাকশন’ শীর্ষক পূর্ণাঙ্গ অধিবেশনে
অংশ নেবেন। একই দিন সন্ধ্যায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইউরোপের ১৫টি দেশে নিযুক্ত বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রদূতদের
নিয়ে আয়োজিত ‘আঞ্চলিক দূত সম্মেলনে’ যোগ দেবেন। আগামী মঙ্গলবার (২৫ জুলাই) ইতালির
প্রধানমন্ত্রী জর্জিয়া মেলোনির সঙ্গে দ্বিপক্ষীয় বৈঠক করবেন শেখ হাসিনা। এছাড়া রোমভিত্তিক
আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থা-ফুড এন্ড এগ্রিকালচার অর্গানাইজেশন (এফএও), ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফান্ড অব
এগ্রিকালচারাল ডেভেলপমেন্ট (আইএফএডি) এবং ওয়ার্ল্ড ফুড প্রোগ্রামের (ডব্লিউএফপি) নির্বাহী
প্রধানরা প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করবেন। ২৬ জুলাই দেশের উদ্দেশে রোম ত্যাগ করবেন

এদিকে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা আগামী মঙ্গলবার রোমে ইতালির প্রধানমন্ত্রী জর্জিয়া মেলোনির সঙ্গে
দ্বিপক্ষীয় বৈঠক করবেন। বৈঠকে সামরিক ও প্রতিরক্ষা সরঞ্জাম কেনাকাটা, ইতালিতে অবৈধ
বাংলাদেশিদের বৈধকরণসহ সম্পর্ক জোরদারে বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগ নিয়ে আলোচনা হতে পারে। ওই বৈঠক
শেষে দুই দেশ বাণিজ্য খাতে সহযোগিতা ও সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময় বিষয়ে দুটি সমঝোতা স্মারক সই করতে
পারে। সফর শেষে প্রধানমন্ত্রী আগামী বুধবার ঢাকার উদ্দেশে রওনা হবেন।

invitation of Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight
carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
for the Italian capital Rome.
The flight will land at Rome's Fiumicino Airport at 4:30 pm local time. Minister Plenipotentiary
of Italian Foreign Ministry and Bangladesh Ambassador to Italy Abdus Sobhan Sikder will
receive the Prime Minister at the airport.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said that a high-level delegation led by Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina is attending the conference at the invitation of UN Secretary General Antonio
Guterres. Apart from the foreign minister, the agriculture minister, the food minister, the
adviser to the prime minister on private industry and investment and the state minister for
power, energy and mineral resources will accompany the prime minister.
According to the itinerary, the Prime Minister will address the official opening ceremony of the
conference at the FAO headquarters tomorrow, Monday, as a special guest speaker. After the
inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister will participate in the plenary session on 'Food
System and Climate Action'.
The Prime Minister will have a very busy time at the conference, which will be held under the
theme of 'Sustainable Food Systems for People, Earth and Prosperity: Different Paths in a Joint
Journey'.It is reported that the heads of state, heads of government, agricultural experts, food
producers, scientists, researchers and other stakeholders will be present in the forum. On

relations including purchase of military and defense equipment, legalization of illegal Bangladeshis
in Italy. After the meeting, the two countries may sign two MoUs on trade cooperation and cultural
exchange. After the visit, the Prime Minister will leave for Dhaka next Wednesday.
