ছুটির আবেদন ছাড়াই প্রতিষ্ঠানে অনুপস্থিত থাকায় দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে
৩৪ জন শিক্ষককে শো-কজ নোটিশ দিয়েছে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চশিক্ষা অধিদফতর (মাউশি)।
গত (২০ জুলাই) রোজ রোববার মাউশির সহকারী পরিচালক (মাধ্যমিক-২) এস এম জিয়াউল হক
হেনরী স্বাক্ষরিত এক চিঠিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
শোকজকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে শীর্ষে রয়েছে রংপুর। এ অঞ্চলের ১০ শিক্ষক অনুপস্থিত ছিলেন।
এছাড়া রাজশাহীর সাতজন, খুলনা অঞ্চলের পাঁচজন, ঢাকা অঞ্চলের চারজন, ময়মনসিংহ
অঞ্চলের তিনজন, কুমিল্লা অঞ্চলের দুইজন, চট্টগ্রাম, বরিশাল ও সিলেট অঞ্চলের একজন করে
শিক্ষক অনুপস্থিত ছিলেন।
মাউশির চিঠিতে বলা হয়, জুন মাসে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চশিক্ষা অধিদফতরের আওতাধীন মাঠপর্যায়ের
শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তারা ডিজিটাল মনিটরিং সিস্টেমের মাধ্যমে পূর্ব ঘোষণা ছাড়াই শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহ
পরিদর্শন করেন। অধিদফতরের মনিটরিং অ্যান্ড ইভালুয়েশন উইং থেকে মাধ্যমিক উইংয়ে এ
সংশ্লিষ্ট প্রতিবেদন পাঠানো হয়। এতে ছুটি ছাড়াই অননুমোদিতভাবে বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষকদের
অনুপস্থিতির বিষয়টি পরিলক্ষিত হয়েছে।
পরিদর্শনকালে ৩৪ জন শিক্ষককে বিদ্যালয়ে উপস্থিত থাকতে দেখা যায়নি। আগামী পাঁচ
কর্মদিবসের মধ্যে উপস্থিত না থাকার সুস্পষ্ট কারণ মাউশিতে পাঠাতে হবে।
এ বিষয়ে মাউশির সহকারী পরিচালক (মাধ্যমিক-২) এস এম জিয়াউল হক হেনরী বলেন, যাদের
শোকজ করা হয়েছে, তাদের অধিকাংশই দুই দিন বা তার বেশি সময় ধরে স্কুলে আসেন না। এটা
সতর্কীকরণ নোটিশ। ভবিষ্যতে কেউ এমন করলে শাস্তিমূলক ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে। এর আগে কয়েক
দফা শোকজ করা হয়েছে।

The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (MAUSHI) issued show-cause notices to
34 teachers from various institutions in different regions of the country for being absent from
the institution without applying for leave.
This information was informed in a letter signed by SM Ziaul Haque Henry, Assistant Director
(Secondary-2) of Maushi on Sunday (July 20).
Rangpur is at the top among the bereaved institutions. 10 teachers of this region were absent.
Besides, seven teachers from Rajshahi, five teachers from Khulna region, four teachers from
Dhaka region, three teachers from Mymensingh region, two teachers from Comilla region, one
each from Chittagong, Barisal and Sylhet regions were absent.
According to Maushi's letter, in June, field level education officers under the Department of
Secondary and Higher Education visited the educational institutions without prior
announcement through the digital monitoring system. The concerned report is sent from the
monitoring and evaluation wing of the department to the secondary wing. It has observed the
issue of unauthorized absence of teachers in schools without leave.
During the inspection, 34 teachers were not found to be present in the school. A clear reason for
non-attendance must be sent to Maushi within the next five working days.
In this regard, Maushi Assistant Director (Secondary-2) SM Ziaul Haque Henry said that most
of those who have been bereaved do not come to school for two days or more. This is a warning
notice. If anyone does this in the future, disciplinary action will be taken. Several rounds of
mourning havebeen done before this.
